More and more couples are choosing to have a ‘pre-wedding’ or ‘engagement’ shoot. I like doing them because it lets a couple get a taster of what they can expect on their wedding day and also because…..well because they’re just fun.
A while ago I read a piece in a national newspaper about a couple who had endured a cringeworthy engagement shoot. I felt for this couple, I really did. My engagement shoots are shot in the same way that I shoot my weddings ~ minimum posing, no cheesy/naff shots, no artificial props; just good plain old fashioned genuine emotion.
My Engagement shoots typically last between 1 – 2 hours. I’m happy to suggest locations to couples however I think its always best when the location is one that’s special to the couple and has meaning.
